“Hire Sandra ASAP!

This review is loooooong overdue as we got married in Maui in November 2021, but the best advice I can give is BOOK SANDRA! I am a professional event planner and had extremely high expectations for our perfect day. Sandra exceeded every expectation, tenfold and made our day so magical, that all we had to do was be in the moment and enjoy every minute.

She took every phone call, text, email, request, etc. that we had during the planning and was always willing to work with us and offer advice or recommendations to make our dreams come true within our budget. Additionally, planning a destination in the middle of Covid was no small task, and she always kept us informed and stayed on top of all the regulations.

Everyone asks me “what went wrong on your wedding day?” and my answer is always “nothing” because Sandra and her team truly are incredible and executed every single detail flawlessly. Not only did they cater to our needs (Bride and Groom) but made sure our family and friends had the best time and that we stuck to our timeline to ensure the best experience for us and our guests.

I could go on and on about Sandra and her team, but the moral of the story is...she is the best of the best and I would hire her for any event on Maui! Sandra and her team are an integral part of our magical memories of our wedding day and I hope you all get to experience that as well!”

“We met with a few wedding planners on Maui before selecting Sandra and her team at A Maui Wedding Day. A Maui Wedding Day works with excellent vendors on the island and we were thrilled with all of them. We were very attentive to the budget. Sandra was willing to work with us to be sure we were spending money on the details that were important to us. Overall it really was the best day and our guests raved about the reception...the tropical flowers, the delicious food, the gorgeous venue and the fun DJ. Scheduling calls with her was super easy and she was very open to a lot of our last-minute changes. Sandra was kind enough to receive a lot of packages on our behalf and store them properly for us. We also had two events before the wedding day (typical Indian wedding) which we invited her to and she not only showed up with a colleague but they also helped out a lot with setting up everything and helping out anywhere possible. Obviously, this is our first (and only!) wedding and we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. 12/10 would recommend not only a wedding coordinator but also A Maui Wedding Day! “I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sandra as a wedding coordinator. Our wedding day turned out amazingly, with Sandra taking care of all the little details (setup, taking down, packing up our stuff for us, etc). I gave Sandra some images/Pinterest boards of what my vision was and she made great vendor introductions and helped deliver exactly what I wanted. Sandra and her team have a very calm and cool demeanor which is exactly what you want on the wedding day! You can tell they’ve done this a million times. Every vendor I spoke to during our planning also said Sandra is one of the best on the island. One thing I would recommend - definitely take advantage of Sandra’s policy that you can schedule a call with her at any time! I assume Sandra gets bogged down with emails from all over the place, so the best way to get quick answers is to take advantage of speaking by phone (if you’re planning a destination wedding like we were). We had absolutely no stress or worries on the wedding day and were truly able to enjoy ourselves thanks to Sandra and her team.”

“I first was drawn to a Maui wedding day when I was googling coordinators in the Maui area and I loved their website. I reached out to a few of the websites and when I got a response from
Sandra, it was so warm and welcoming that I knew right away that A Maui wedding day was right up my alley. I am from Vancouver Canada so Sandra’s openness and willingness to provide her suggestions and recommendations were instrumental in making my wedding experience stress free. I truly enjoyed my evening and never once wondered about anything going on. The entire event went off without a glitch! My guests had a great time and it was a day I will never forget. I will say as well I had a bunch of kids at my wedding and I never thought to have an area for them to help keep them entertained. Sandra recognized how amazing a kids’ table would be and took it upon herself to bring some extra coloring materials, colored piping, and beads! By the end of the night, I had many necklaces and crowns thanks to those kids and Sandra’s ahhhhmazing ideas. Also, we had several flower arrangements that were stunning and made by a local florist. Offhandedly, my mom, Sandra, and I were talking at the reception and it was mentioned that it was a shame we couldn’t take the flowers home and that they would end up being discarded. Sandra suggested ( with zero pushiness whatsoever ) that we could donate them to some of the local hospices in the surrounding area and that she would personally make the deliveries and ensure the flowers were reloved. This gesture warmed my heart beyond explanation and I am so grateful I had someone so thoughtful as a part of my day. I would highly recommend a Maui Wedding Day and wish to repeat my heartfelt thanks for making our wedding day exceptional.”
